I made a wall hanging that uses the block call Economy Block, sometimes I think it's called square in square. I paper pieced the blocks and fussy cut the inside squares to showcase the safari themed fabrics. The only batting I had on hand was leftover from a purse and was really too thick. Also, during this project the walking foot on my machine broke, so I ended up tying the quilt using leftover sock yarn in a matching color. I think it turned out cute.

Camp Loopy 2015 - Fabric Project #1
This is my June, 2015, project for Camp Loopy Fabric Camp. The challenge was to use 4 one half yard cuts and include at least 1 traditional quilting block. Here are the fabrics:
