Rachel - I got your comments on the entrelac sock knitalong and wanted to let you know how I fugred out when to start the heel. I read through Eunny's directions and it appeared that the heel started when your sock was 2" less than the desired finished length from toe tip to back of heel. On my 6/6.5 size feet that was 5.5 inches long. Hope that helps!
